The Korea Association for International Commerce and Information has recently made rapid progress by using ubiquitous in the international trade field, and the modern trade is expanding its trading targets from commodities, capital, services, and intellectual property, which were the main targets of import and export. In this regard, the Korea Research Institute of Commerce and Information identifies the trends of the times and uses trade information, trade information system, electronic documents, and related laws, including regional information as a newly emerging research field.
Its main purpose is to establish an academic system of trade information by accepting it as a research subject.
In addition, the aim is to extend the participation of the society to practical practitioners in which theory and practice are harmonized by expanding not only the professors and researchers in a specific field of study but also the practitioners in the industries closely related to trade information. In addition, the Korea Society of Trade and Information provides a forum for active academic debate through academic conferences, as well as open monthly meetings for active academic research to seriously discuss recent issues that are changing rapidly. Member
- Honorary Member : Those who have a high level of learning and virtue and are engaged in organizations or organizations that agree with the purpose and work of the Society; A scholar who has been distinguished by domestic and foreign scholars for the development of this society and selected by the board of directors.
- Special Member: Acknowledgment of the purpose of the society, with the consent of the board of directors, public institutions, research institutes and corporations a person who has reported the admission and paid the membership fee as a qualified person.
- Library member : Those who paid dues to the library in favor of the purpose of the Society.
- Regular member: Approves the purposes and projects prescribed in Articles 2 and 4 of the Articles of Incorporation, and conducts research and practice in commercial informatics and related fields. Or persons who participate in the education and have qualified by the board of directors with the recommendation of a full member.
- Associate member : A graduate of a university that is interested in the purpose and business of the plenary session and is interested in trade related information. Or a person with equal or higher educational background and qualified by the board of directors with the recommendation of a regular member
- Life membership : A person who has the same qualification as a full member and paid the annual membership fee for the full member
